Meet the "C" family. Full of two spunky girls and one ADORABLE lil' boy. This family was so much fun even though they had a bit of frost bite from the the freezing temp! I even got invited back for a super rockin' silly band party :)

So Mister Landon gave me a run for my money! I think that he the set the record for the baby who pottied on me the most- EVER!! He fought the good fight but he wore out in the end and was a perfect angel. He was quite the chub weighing in at over 9lbs! Congrats K family- he is perfect!

Holiday Cards........{Humboldt County Photography & Design}

So I absolutely loved ALL my wonderful clients this holiday season. It was so much fun to create cards for each individual family to tell the story that they wanted. I am truly grateful for each and every client that chose to use my photography services this year and I value the friendships and relationships that have evolved from that. I have been collecting some super cute newborn goodies the past 2 weeks and I am dying to try some new ideas! I am offering  $25 off all newborn sessions booked by January 24th. Now on with another sweet little guy. Mr Dustin was 6 weeks old during our session which can sometimes be a challenge but he did perfect for me!

So I am home now and excited to do some much needed catching up! I will start with an update of my lil' cuties. They were very patient with me this year for our hiliday session and I think that they realized that the quicker they listened to me during photographs, the quicker they got to choose their treat! This session took all of 20 minutes and they pretty much did all the "posing" on their own. It is almost believeable that they really like eachother right?!

I think that this one is my favorite <3

Here is our card this year. I went with the accordian fold out style and while my husband thought it was a little excessive and referred to it as "the catalog", I loved the way it turned out!

I included the front and back file view since my product photography skills are not the greatest :)

We had a fantastic holiday with family and friends and I think we ended the year feeling pretty blessed to be living the lives we have. Lots more to come......

Absolutely Perfect Miss Chezney.......{Fortuna, Eureka, Ferndale, Arcata, & Southern Humboldt Newborn Photography}

 

Miss Chezney joins a mom and a dad who are crazy-head-over-heels in love with  her!! Clearly first time parents, they are at the "stare at the baby for hours stage". I remember the wonder and awe that comes with the first baby and it is so magical to see it through the eyes of others. I feel so lucky to be a part of it.

Mom has forever been known as "Bear" to her friends and family  (and I think most strangers too) so I couldn't resist a baby bear photograph!

Helloooooo.....is anyone still out there????........{Humboldt County Newborn Photography}

I am very aware that I have been a horrible blogger lately. I had such a wonderful holiday season with clients, family, and friends and I was too busy enjoying them to sit at my pc updating and miss all the fun. I am so excited to share all my holiday goodies with you, sneak peeks, cards, annoucements, a bazillion holiday sessions,  personal sessions etc. I had intentions of doing so already this week, but of course life got in the way. My January is already starting off with a bang with 5 newborns  to photograph in the first 5 days of the month! I did ask Santa for a baby for Christmas but I am thinking that he miss-interperted what I meant :)

 I am going to share all my newborn yumminess with you before I head out of town for my Lil' Miss, and then on with the updates from December !!! 

I am starting with my first newborn girlie of the year- Miss Callee. She was such a sweetie for me and it was a great way to start the year for sure! Doesn't she have the most perfect lips <3 <3

Thanks for hanging in there with me- I will make it worth it for sure!
