Meet Claire....(Humboldt County Newborn Photographer)
This is my new Neice that I have been waiting for FOREVER!! I can't wait to spoil her silly. We went to Napa to visit her and so I had the whole ride home with Brian to talk him into having another baby girl. He softened a bit on the idea but I think it was just to get me to stop talking. I think I am going to have to get him schnockered and take matters into my own hands and then just play dumb when I have a positive preggo test!!
Congrats Todd and Julie. You made me the happiest Auntie in the world!

The Renner Family....(humboldt county family photographer)
You know how sometimes you know what you want but you just can't get it? Well, I knew that I wanted a big canvas to hang above the bed with some bright colors. I set out to get this shot early the other morning. It was one of those days that I should have stayed in bed! First off, Miss Kenzie woke up with a 103.7 degree fever- and was not feeling good at all. Being the great parent that I am, I gave her some Tylenol and made her get dressed anyway and told her to try not and get her drippy nose on her outfit. We left for the location and got half way there and realized that I forgot my camera. Turn around go back grab camera and we are on our way again. We got to location, brrrrrrrrr 35 degrees and I get my tri-pod out to set it up. Can't get my camera screwed into my tri-pod and then I realize that I didn't bring my tri-pod, I brought my backdrop stand! I have no idea how I didn't realize that one. I grab some packing tape from the car and tape my camera precariously to the pole and get to work. My poor family was sooooo patient with me. My mom came to press the shutter button and she did great considering she can't even figure out the remote for the tv :) (luv ya mom)Anyhoo....got something to work with at least. I love the light coming through the barn in the first one but not sure about the pose. It's so hard to try and set up the shot without being behind the lense! I have a bunch more that I may try to cut and paste but my photoshop skills are a bit limited for that! I am so proud of how patient my family was with me. I am pretty lucky! Which one do you like best?

Wowzers....(humboldt county child photographer)
I had the pleasure of doing another session with this fun bunch. Mom is my movie buddie- ie: she is the only one who will see all those chick flicks, documentaries, foreign films, and books to movies that my husband would not be caught dead at! And to top it off, she is way funner than going with my husband because she doesn't steal any of my popcorn and she can stay awake at the late shows! I'm sure that we will be the only people at "New Moon" next week who are over 30! Sad to say, but I can't wait!
