Happy New Year...(Humboldt County Childrens Photographer)
Happy New Year Everyone! Do you all have big resolutions? I usually do the norm; loose 10 million pounds, exercise more, be more patient, stop cursing etc. This year is definitely different. This little situation with Makenzie has really put things in perspective for me. First of all, I am going to try and live in the moment. I am not going to worry about what my house looks like, or that it is past my kids' bedtime, or that I have 3 clients to proof- I am going to enjoy my kids and all the precious memories they give me. This year I am also going to acknowledge my friends more. I have the greatest friends; they are always there for me, they make me laugh, they support myself and my family, they are honest and loyal, and they are some of the greatest gifts in the world. I am going to let them know how special they are to me and my family. I am going to be there for them whenever they need me just like they have been for me theese last few weeks. This year I am also going to learn how to use my darn raw setting. I have had so much trouble with finding those images on my computer! I am also going to stop buying so many darn clothes. I have no use for half the things I buy. Most of the stuff in my closets still have tags on them. It is one thing to buy stuff for the house or the kids, but I don't NEED any more clothes for me- until spring that is!
Anyway, I hope these resolutions last longer than last years- I am still cursing quite a bit! Let me know if you have any goods ones for yourself this year- I might have to add some more to my list. Kenzie is doing a bit better; her last count was 19,000. Thank you to those emails you all sent.
This group of pictures is from the other day. We went on a walk to the "top of the world" the kids were being so silly with their faces and poses.
