You know how sometimes you know what you want but you just can't get it? Well, I knew that I wanted a big canvas to hang above the bed with some bright colors. I set out to get this shot early the other morning. It was one of those days that I should have stayed in bed! First off, Miss
Kenzie woke up with a 103.7 degree fever- and was not feeling good at all. Being the great parent that I am, I gave her some
Tylenol and made her get dressed anyway and told her to try not and get her drippy nose on her outfit. We left for the location and got half way there and realized that I forgot my camera. Turn around go back grab camera and we are on our way again. We got to location,
brrrrrrrrr 35 degrees and I get my
tri-pod out to set it up. Can't get my camera screwed into my
tri-pod and then I realize that I didn't bring my
tri-pod, I brought my backdrop stand! I have no idea how I didn't realize that one. I grab some packing tape from the car and tape my camera precariously to the pole and get to work. My poor family was
sooooo patient with me. My mom came to press the shutter button and she did great considering she can't even figure out the remote for the
tv :) (luv ya mom)
Anyhoo....got something to work with at least. I love the light coming through the barn in the first one but not sure about the pose. It's so hard to try and set up the shot without being behind the
lense! I have a bunch more that I may try to cut and paste but my
photoshop skills are a bit limited for that! I am so proud of how patient my family was with me. I am pretty lucky! Which one do you like best?
